Scream 6: The survivors of the most recent Ghostface murders—sisters Samantha and Tara Carpenter and twins Chad and Mindy Meeks—leave Woodsboro and begin a fresh chapter in New York City only to experience another Ghostface killer murdering spree there.
The next American slasher film Scream VI is being produced by Kevin Williamson and is being directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. It was written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, and it was originally the franchise’s creator and writer. Directly following Scream, it will be the sixth movie in the Scream series (2022).

Scream 6 casts:
Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, and Jenna Ortega were announced to return for the sixth film in May 2022. The following day, Hayden Panettiere stated that she would reprise her role as Kirby Reed from the fourth film. When queried about her participation in the film, Cox stated that her contract had not yet been completed.
In June, it was also announced that Dermot Mulroney would be joining the cast as a police officer, and Cox formally confirmed her involvement with the picture. Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, and Josh Segarra joined the cast on June 16, and Henry Czerny joined on June 23. On July 14, Samara Weaving and Tony Revolori were both named as cast members.

On March 10, 2023, Paramount Pictures will release Scream VI in the United States.
