Lakers Games: Depleted Lakers must play “mistake-free,” according to LeBron James.

Lakers games: Los Angeles suffered its third loss in the previous week as the Sacramento Kings defeated the Lakers 116-111 in the final minute of play on an 8-3 surge.

Afterward, LeBron James claimed that because of their current injury situation, the Lakers have “zero tolerance for error.”

We have physical limitations, James added. “So, as long as some of our important players are out, we have to keep playing the way we have the last few games. Play basketball with no mistakes.”

James led the Lakers with 32 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds while playing the most minutes (30 seconds) of any Laker.

Lakers Games: Darvin Ham stated earlier this month, “I simply want to ride [James]” for as many minutes as required to secure the win after the 38-year-old played 40 minutes against the Charlotte Hornets; however, the Lakers coach changed his tune when considering James’ workload versus the Kings.

“I’m sorry,” Ham admitted. “He’s playing at an incredible level, but we can’t run him into the ground. That was one of my primary objectives heading into the season. The other night, I was 36 and a half. We only need to control him and keep him happy.
We simply need to supervise him and be clear about reducing his minute count a little.

Lakers Games: James played all but 25 seconds of the fourth quarter against the Kings, but he may have begun to feel the effects of too many minutes when he shot 1-for-7 in the final session.

With Lonnie Walker IV (knee) and Austin Reaves (hamstring) also on the injured list, the Lakers have been without All-Star center Anthony Davis for more than a month due to a right foot injury.

Without the three important rotation players, Los Angeles has managed to stay in the game, but lately, they have had trouble securing victories.

Their previous three losses were to the Dallas Mavericks by four points in double overtime, the Dallas Mavericks by one point, and the Sacramento Kings by five points while Domantas Sabonis was out of the lineup.

With 1:10 left in the fourth quarter on Wednesday, Sacramento took the lead before James tied the score at 108-108 with an and-one finger-roll layup and accompanying free throw.

Lakers Games: The Kings were able to increase their lead to 111-108 after Russell Westbrook first fouled Harrison Barnes while he was attempting a layup under the hoop. James had already scored an and-one, but the Kings were given the opportunity to respond immediately.

A few possessions later, when Kendrick Nunn made a 3-pointer with 7.0 seconds remaining to trim the Kings’ advantage from four to one, freshman Max Christie was called for a clear path foul on Richaun Holmes. As a result, the Kings were awarded two free throw opportunities as well as the ball.

Lakers Games: Following Sacramento’s subsequent inbounds pass, Holmes hit both, and Trey Lyles added two more to seal the victory after being fouled.

Ham stated, “I still have no doubt whatsoever that we’re going to break all the way through at some point.”We’re competing at a very high level, in my opinion. Due to injuries, we’re attempting to mix and match players. So figuring out what lineup of players you can go with down the stretch is difficult. But the men are doing their duty.”
